Jesse Baez brings his sleek Spanish-language R&B to the Voodoo Room on Friday, all velvet tone, clipped drums, and neon-lit melodies. The Guatemala-born singer helped carve space for Latin alt-R&B over the last decade, blending trap-soul production with a patient, conversational delivery. His sets read intimate and late-night, more club than theater, with space for the slow-burn cuts that made his name to land properly.
